The subscription price includes everything you need to be successful with BidBow including the software, support, updates, and self-paced online training. Most of our clients only need this all-inclusive subscription.

Some clients request personalized instructor-led training and on-boarding services. While this is not required, we offer it as an add-on option. If you're not sure if you need this add-on, request a consultation and we'd be happy to guide you.

We do not charge for implementation because the software installs in minutes. Most of our users have successfully installed it on their own, and a few just needed the permission of their IT admin to allow installation of the software on their machines.

Additionally, our support team is always available to help you with the installation and use of the software. Our team can also provide guidance as you build your master database, estimate your projects, and help you succeed with BidBow.

BidBow is based in Canada and our team operates virtually. This allows us to work with many customers all over the world. Our team works across time zones to ensure timely availability and support whenever you need it.

BidBow is a downloadable desktop application. All your estimation data resides in files in your environment. This can be on the same PC you install BidBow on, or on a server at your company that you can designate to storing your team's BidBow files.

Consider BidBow project files just like any Excel or Word files you create and save. The files are subject to your company's IT controls - BidBow has no visibility or control over them.

In addition to ensuring BidBow files are subject to your company's security controls, we highly recommend that you also include them as part of your company's backup procedures.

Yes. By placing your estimate project file in a location that is accessible to all users who need to collaborate, users can work on the same estimate at the same time. This can be a machine of one of the BidBow users, or a separate machine that does not need to have BidBow installed or licensed.

However, each user accessing the file using BidBow requires their own individual subscription which grants them an activation on the computer they are using.

BidBow includes a civil construction demo database for training and demonstration purposes. It is not meant to be an up-to-date reference for cost data to use in your estimates. However, the list of resources, activities, and categories can provide a starting point for building your own database. You will need to update the cost data to reflect your location, currency and company rates.

BidBow is designed in a way that makes it applicable to any trade or project type. It has been used successfully across civil, infrastructure, MEP, commercial and residential building, oil and gas, facilities management, precast factories and many others.
